About the Instructor:

Tess Whitty is a certified English to Swedish translator and member of ATA. Tess works full time as a freelancer in the US since 2003, providing translation, editing and proofreading services, delivering webinars and podcasts on marketing strategies for translators.

After moving from Sweden to the US in 2001, Tess started looking into a freelance career so she could stay home with her two young children.

Tess started from scratch to establish herself as a successful freelance translator and worked her way up to more clients, better pay, job satisfaction and success. She has had the opportunity to help the world’s largest software companies and online streaming sites reach their Swedish customers.

With an education in international marketing, and experience as a marketing manager, Tess was able to use her marketing skills to grow her business to six figures, finding clients and projects she loves, and not working weekends and late nights.
