Making your Translation Business Work

How to survive long term as a small business in the translation industry.

According to reports, a staggering number of small businesses in Canada don’t survive past the initial three to five years.  Learn how to avoid this fate by considering:

  • How to determine if working independently is the right option for you
  • How to get—and keep—clients
  • How to adapt to a changing market and survive long term

These topics and more will be covered in this interactive workshop.

This workshop can be considered a follow-up workshop to Francesa Penso's earlier workshop on how to set up a translation business.

Presenter: Lucía Terra, PhD, Certified Translator

Seminar or workshop refunds are offered depending on the nature of the event, and administrative fees may be charged. Cancellations made 24 hours before the event are eligible for a refund. (For those who registered and are paying by cheque or cash, the workshop fee can be paid at the door. No shows will be invoiced if no cancellation received.)
