SDL Trados is one of the foremost CAT tools in the translation industry. With the advancement of AI, translators are asked to work faster and more accurately.

Basic knowledge of one tool will be beneficial in learning other CAT tools. This workshop will cover the basic concept of CAT tools, basic functions of SDL Trados, to help increase the productivity and provide consistent translation.

About the Instructor:

Masako Fujiwara is a STIBC-certified English to Japanese translator with a BA in English Language and Literature, and is also trained as a consecutive translator. She has over 25 years of experience as translator, interpreter and project manager, in a wide range of fields including experience in engineering, software localization, IT, and hospitality industries. She has been a Trados user since 1997.
