UBC Extended Learning in Downtown will be offering Court Interpreting – Consecutive Interpreting workshops on Sundays in November. STIBC members can get a special discount by entering the code “STIBC”. Please present your membership card when visiting the course.
Students will gain hands-on experience interpreting consecutively in court proceedings during the workshop. It will be especially helpful for those who are preparing for their oral part of the Court Interpreting exam. The workshop has four sessions that are designed to be taken in sequence but students have the option to register for sessions individually.
The first session is non-language specific and the rest three are for participants in Chinese/English combination.
